Building Bridges

We are excited to welcome into our building Family Life of Dallas on Sunday mornings. That means we are experimenting with our gathering times. We meet at 12:00 noon downstairs, for a time of adult study and then at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary for worship together.

At First Christian Church we’re purposed to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in faithful response to God's will and purposes as revealed through Jesus Christ in the world; to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to the Church; to help them grow spiritually so that they may increasingly know and do Christ's will; to serve the community of which it is a part; to bring the gospel message to bear upon society; . . . to work for the unity of all Christians; to seek the oneness of the Body of Christ; and in all ways to seek to make known the love of God. We have no creed by Christ, no book but the Bible.

We will continue to livestream the worship service on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064637563964) and they will be posted to our YouTube page (https://youtube.com/channel/UC787GHImq8kXipwN5MSnvRw). Helping our community maintain a healthy smile

We provide a location for the dental van to park and connect to electricity as well as an area for patients to complete paperwork and wait for their appointments. To make an appointment, call 503-623-6890.

Prayer is an integral part of our church

We publish prayer requests in a monthly brochure, providing updates in our weekly bulletin and our monthly newsletter. We also have an email prayer chain where we can add prayer requests as they come in and provide updates and share the answers to the prayers.

If you have a prayer request, please feel free to use the contact page below to reach out to us. Requests can be as short as "I need prayer". Prayers about health issues can be for just "health issues" or you can provide details. Our goal is to respect people's privacy as much as possible.
